My 2021 Y always shows the recommended 80% daily charge in the app. I've never seen a 90% recommendation. But my coworker's 2022 Model Y shows the 90% daily charge limit recommendation. Battery technology seems to have improved for the newer models.
My car was shipped in July 2021, so it probably falls under option 2. Then, if I retrofit ECU Gen4 myself, wouldn't it be limited by maintenance from Tesla in the future?
I just received message from Tesla service center. "The CCS adapter is set to support Europe. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to anything". I think they don't have knowlege about that. I think I need to instal by myself.
I have applied for service for Gen 4 ECU upgrade and am waiting for the reserved date. (for Model Y July, 2021) I don't know if I can get this service from them. Has anyone ever had an ECU upgrade at a service center?
