So while I was checking out existing inventory this morning, I saw a red model 3P with black interior pop up in the Bay Area. Since the only difference for me was the interior color I decided to go ahead and lock it up. I now have a VIN assigned and I am waiting to see what the EDD will be once...

So I just had a good talk with my SA, and he thinks we will see these in the next 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. No idea how true that is, but I have the same date range and patterns as you and noticed you and I are in the same area, so let's hope he is right!

I’m exactly the same range and location. For what it’s worth I reached out to my SA yesterday and he told me that he sees the same thing in his “secondary system” for now. However, imho the smart bet is to not have any expectations, and be pleasantly surprised if we get it sooner then sometime...

Thanks for the info. You are probably right, I'm just wondering why they would have the canned EDD ranges seem to specify the P models coming first. Maybe just to get more people to buy into the P models thinking they will get it faster....lol

Man....I would really try and talk your way into picking it up on the 22nd if possible. Maybe you can just sign off on everything and then bring it back after you get back or something? Good luck.

Just an update on this for mine, I've seen it bounce a few times to the default 7-11 weeks, but the last few days it has been sitting at or around 7/13 - 8/1 give or take a day or two on the left.

Seems like the right mindset to have in these conditions. Enjoy the EDD ride!

Yeah IMO looks way better blacked out. I have seen people use that plastidip stuff on them, but I think I’ll just get some black decals I saw on Amazon to put over them.

I’m thinking of putting some GYEON Quartz LeatherShield on the white seats right away to try and keep stains from setting in. I also saw some a detailing place on YouTube that was using Colourlock Leather Shield on them which they recommended for the same purpose.

It’s been bouncing between July 7 - July 27 and 7-11 Weeks. I just tell myself to expect September based on what I’ve read here on this message board. I hear you on the truck situation. I sold my Forester a few weeks ago and have been borrowing the wifey’s ride since. Hope you get yours soon!

I saw this posted in the LR waiting room thread by user blkgenius so this makes a bit more sense: 2021 Refresh - LR AWD Waiting Room Learn to ignore the EDD when it displays the same range as a new order, presently 7-11 weeks. The system does try to approximate when your car enters...

Hello Everyone, Just thought I would throw my info out here to help out with tracking info. I ordered my Red Model 3P on 6/24 with an expected delivery date of 7/7 - 7/27. I'm located in the SF Bay Area. Good luck to everyone waiting to get their Model 3. I hope the time passes fast!
