Not sure. My parents may take it. I may just put it on hold, keep the price locked in and see if I want to change next year if upgraded battery etc. Hopefully would be able to sell MYP for a good price if I decide to that.

Definitely WAY higher demand for MYLR, but they could have made my MYLR order instead of the MYP. It's not that there are MYP sitting around, they just prioritize them to get higher $$$. I guess I'm one of those suckers that just gave in. The acceleration is unreal though :)

MYP was delivered 9/2. IT IS AMAZING! MYLR EDD now 9/10-9/30. Crazy that I ordered that over 3 months ago and the MYP came in 1 month. I guess MYP take priority and then everything else gets pushed to EOQ rush.

VIN assigned for the MYP - 264*** Home delivery scheduled for Friday.

You can cross your fingers and hope the EOQ EDD is accurate. I ordered 5/27. The range when I ordered was 3-13 weeks. Early on I had EDDs for the end of June and thought since I was in the bay area I might get one of those cars. Even had SAs tell me it looked like I could get it EOQ or 1st...

This seems like everyone has been moved to October or January or 4-5 weeks so this may be a recalibration for everyone rather than generic hold before getting a VIN. Guess we’ll find out in the next couple days.

MYP EDD just updated to 4-5 weeks from 8/28-9/17. MYLR still says October. 🤞🏻this means VINs will come soon.

I am now in the October club with the MYLR. Yesterday it was 8/26-9/14. MYP is still 8/28-9/17.

Hopefully this is a good sign. We've seen in the past for some people when close EDDs switched to month place holders people got VINs soon after that. My EDDs unchanged - MYLR - 8/26-9/14. MYP 8/28-9/17

Yes, it's crazy. Any change to design changes it to current price. So for me to change to induction wheels would be a $4k price increase. I haven't looked but there's probably a forum on here for people changing wheels.

And you would have to pay the increased cost of the Y. So you'd be saving on the wheels, but it would end up costing the same because of the $2k price increase. Probably better off buying some after you get the car and selling the inductions.
