That's true, this is just what people posted so not sure if it constitutes as proof. Some have posted that their rep confirmed this. But it does make sense to me. When you first ordered, what did you see? Something like 7-11 weeks. After a couple of weeks, maybe you are still seeing 7-11 weeks...

This is a commonly misunderstood part. When the backend system does not return a EDD, it just shows 7-11 weeks (should just show blank to avoid confusing people). Think of it as getting an error while logging into a website. Everyone across the board is getting it. Btw, the 7-11 refers to weeks...

I have the 9-13 weeks today as well but based on previous posts this does not mean anything. It happens when the system stops returning a date and they just show the default. I would just treat it as an error. Probably tomorrow it will go away again.

It could be a mistake text or it could be just good luck. Hopefully it is the second one! They do deliver at the house but I thought this is usually on quarter end so this seems a little unexpected.

In my case, Carmax was 3K higher than Tesla and Carvana was 1K higher as well. I think the best course is to get quotes from everyone including Tesla when the time comes and just go with the best offer.

Lol. EDD was as early as July 4. Then it became July 11-30. Yesterday it changed to 9-13 weeks like everyone else. Today it is July 11-31.

Date moved to July 11-31 today.

Yes 👍 Also I'm thinking maybe less people order this config so less fluctuations in date. But who knows.

These weirdnesses appear to be related to the Quarter end. Either their VIN system is messed up, or they are deliberately stripping people of VINs to optimize for max number of deliveries by June 30.

First post here. I ordered 5/30 as well. Red exterior, white interior, 18 wheels. Initially the date was around July 15-July 28. At one point it went to June 22- June 30, then slipped as far as July 22-Aug 10 or something like that. Recently it has been holding steady at July 04 - July 24...
