Finally have a delivery appointment! RN1148 | April Order MSLR | MSM | Black | 19’s | No FSD 2022 NF VIN received about a week ago. Appt in Calgary next Thursday. Insurance cannot find VIN at the moment. Will follow up with how that pans out.

I don’t know for sure. But plenty of other people seem to be happy to refuse a car for whatever reason so I don’t think you go to the back of the queue.

To the best of my knowledge it is reliable. The source code trick is common and that is all the extension is doing. If it really matters to you (and you don’t mind a delay) you could always be “unavailable for pickup” of that car and wait for a 22 to roll in.

You have my identical config and a much earlier RN. I would be surprised if you don’t have a VIN very soon (if not already - have you checked the source code?) and I would expect you to get an NF VIN too.

No; vin is not on main page yet but from what I’ve seen, that’s not too unusual. I’ve seen others where the VIN appears in source code several days before the main page so 🤷‍♂️ I’ll keep this thread updated in the coming days with any updates.

Aaaaaannd back to a 22 day window. 17th Nov to 9th Dec now. How naive of me to think the last EDD was anything more than a wild stab in the dark. 🤬

No worries thanks. Good to see an LR getting delivered as the bulk of deliveries I’ve seen recently are all plaids; I was starting to worry!

Just a FYI that the current EDD for a NEW ORDER on Tesla’s website is ridiculous. LR/White/Blk/19’s has an EDD of March 2023 🤯

After hitting my EDD window for the 4th (maybe 5th) time yesterday, it was pushed back yet again to Nov 10-Dec 2 (23 day window). Today there has been another updated to Nov 15 - Nov 29 (15 day window). At least this feels like an actual update than just shifting the EDD backwards 5 days like...

Unsurprisingly, EDD range started again yesterday (3rd or 4th time) but still no sign of VIN. Woke today to an updated range of Nov 4-Dec 1. More than the usual 20 day window. 😩 Sounds like many of us are in the same boat though.

Fair point. I foolishly sold my car back in July though when I thought the august EDD would happen. Been limping along since and can’t wait to have my own vehicle again.

My EDD range for a Grey LR in Calgary started today but I have heard zip. Even resorted calling them up today in the hopes they may be able to give me an idea of the EDD is possible. But nothing.

If it wasn’t a plaid, I’d be down there now banging on the door. I just can’t justify the extra $$$. Not to my wife anyway 😂

Somewhat unsurprisingly, my two day window (29/30 Sept) just switched to February. Hopefully this is still the VIN bug! Anyone else see that change today?

We have the same SA I’m guessing. I don’t have a VIN or “confirmed” delivery date yet but an EDD of wed/thurs. I spoke to SA two days before the updated EDD and she couldn’t tell me anything until I got a VIN. I assume you have a VIN already?

I saw that some people only found out the VIN when the SA contacted them. So hoping for that!

This is what I was told; “The 19" Tempest wheels on your order are All seasons. The summer tires are only on Plaid models or upgraded performance wheels.” so maybe plaid does get summers.

Asked my SA this. She says they’re A/S but that’s all I know.

Took for. Ever. To arrive. Had no response to my emails asking for an update. Then received some mats. 2 days later got an email saying “your order is on its way!” And two days later received another set. I had to email them twice to say “you guys sent me an extra set” before they responded...

Did they send you two sets as well? 😂

According to the other thread, that may be a good sign/bug. As many EDDs changed to feb a day or two before receiving a VIN. Although, that would be quite a leap forward so 🤷‍♂️
