Turn your speakers up a bit if you have to. At low volumes the noise is likely not going to be audible in the video.

This is a 2022 Model X Long Range. The pitch is much higher than what existed previously. Previously was, in my opinion, better described as a humming or buzzing and this noise is almost so high that it could be described as an electrical whine or even a hiss.

Sure, but I would bet the frequency is high enough that it will be difficult to capture. Let me go try.

As of last nights update to 40.4 I now have a slight but extremely high pitched whine coming from the car. It’s difficult to pinpoint exact where its emanating from but the situation of when it’s happening vs when it’s not is identical to the prior buzz we have experienced in this thread...

I believe that click is the high voltage connections/relay dropping in place. Essentially it is the main battery being engaged. So if 2022.36.1 is the fix we are waiting for, I have some good news! 2022.36 is releasing today, so maybe one more point release until this is all over!?

So 2022.36.1 has the fix if the above comment is correct. Tesla appears to increment by 4 every month so 2022.36 should come in November if that is accurate.

Thankfully the car does go silent after it goes to sleep. With it parked in my garage and asleep it stays silent. If you open the door or use the app the car wakes back up and screams again for a while.

Can you check what the range inside of the car says? My understanding was that the app shows estimated range and inside of the car shows rated range. Let us know what it says?
