Got a VIN today and EDD shifted to 9/4 - 9/7! Hell yeah baby 🤘

Checked today and I got the delivery date creep - went from 9/16 -9/30 to 9/2 - 9/16! Of course it’s moved to range that’s really gonna be tough to do if they land on the front end of this time frame. I’ve heard they will allow you to adjust the actual date by 2-3 days, correct?

I just got the email too. I’m guessing this is Tesla’s way to “cya” so when we all go blank / or get booted to 2022 they can reference that email. Great... expectations appropriately lowered.

So now the truth is revealed! They are trying to trick us 19” fools into switching to 21 and not only paying the upgrade but now the additional $5k, just to get our cars sooner! Where do I sign up 🤔😂

Although to be fair, Elon could still activate the smart summon and bring your car back to Fremont, so nothing is ever really set in stone 🤷‍♂️😎

But if it turns out to be old / from the lot of doom, what can be done to rectify that? I’m sure that’s an automatic trip to the back of the line. I’m sure all of the ghost lot cars have 19s , so at this point no one has gotten any yet
