I’m kind of in the same boat. I am still waiting to test drive a M3P before 100% committing and am worried that there won’t be one to test before I “have” to accept my car. Definitely an interesting first-world problem to have!!

Wow, I did not expect to see such detailed responses when I hopped on for the evening - thank you both very much for your tips and pointers. I was unaware that the GFCI is different functionally than a breaker, so I certainly will limiting the charging I am doing at home. I appreciate you two!

I would also like to know the answer to whether or not Tesla uses your telemetry to adjust your rates! I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Thanks for the reply! For anyone curious in the future, I logged into my account to only see the insurance screen, but Tesla chat was able to switch me from cash to financing which also unlocks the ability to re-add my trade-in. Hope this helps someone!

Sorry for the old thread bump, but did you use an extension cable/splitter at all? If so, was 12 gauge the go to? I am trying to brainstorm a charging solution for a garage that has a singular 20 amp outlet that is taken up by the garage door opener. I know that there is a GFCI with this...
