SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

So took delivery of an lfp today, was a fairly large paint chip right under the rear passenger door and two smaller chips, one on the passenger mirror and hood. Kind of annoying that I can't get a service appointment until October to fix them. But overall aside from those issues, very happy...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

But that's not a "surprise" fee lol. That's normal and on every car loan agreement.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Where do you see this? I am also picking up tomorrow at springfield location and just got my agreement, i don't see any sort of surprise fee. Where under your finance contract does it show a random $1975 fee?

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Oh, a few days after I originally placed my order in early July he texted me with his name number and email and said to reach out with any questions I had.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

When I got the lfp email, I simply texted him. "hey lex, mind giving me a call when you can?" he replied with "absolutely, assuming about that email? Gimmie 5 minutes". And once he called, he explained what he knew about the lfp battery and said they had found out about this with that email as...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

That's so odd, did you place an entirely new order? I had my sa call me and he just assigned a lfp Vin to my current order, which was complete with approved financing already. I didn't have to do a thing, was also the same exact color and specs as the car I originally ordered.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

My SA just assigned the LFP vin to my current order, which was complete with financing. My scheduled delivery date is 9/06 and it shows all the exact same financing info i was already approved for before the LFP switch, I can even pay the down payment which shows the NJ 5k off rebate already...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

In nj at least, our state 5k rebate has been nearly 50% used since early July. If we truly don't get our orders til 2022, rebate has a chance of being gone. not worth risking losing 5k in my opinion.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

So my SA called me about this, said my local tesla is getting one of these that's already in route in the same config i ordered. Said it 10 miles less range but can charge these batteries to 100% without worry. I went ahead and told him to go ahead and assign it to me, within minutes i got a vin...

Charge-Up NJ rebate program Phase 2

When ordering and doing financing, should we be treating the rebate as a down payment to calculate where we want our monthly payments to be? I havent submitted that part yet as it's kind of confusing with the rebate.
