Picking up my car later today. What are all the things to look for before accepting delivery ? I'm going to do a thorough inspection but small things that other people notice later or usual defects would be nice to know. (I have read paint chip and panel gaps are usually the most common issues)...

For all the Charlotte people with a delivery soon: Just got a text that my car arrived at the showroom, and I can pick it up early - Waiting for them to call me with a date. Update: 09/03 6PM it is.

I got mine the day after. Your last EDD before your VIN should be a 7 to 10 day window and seems to be anywhere in between. From what I have seen here, the closer you are to the factory the closer to the start range.

Delivery Scheduled next Monday 9/6. 7 more days and hopefully no issue at inspection.

I have a very similar EDD 9/5-9/17. Was also updated on Saturday morning. My trade-in offer expired too. I went to Carmax and did online Carvana along with my previous trade in and it was almost 3K more than Tesla so I think I will just trade-in with one of them.

I doubt they will be open on labor Day though - it's Apt only on Sat and closed Sunday at normal times so... Got your VIN yet or what is your EDD ?
