Hmmm... That is strange. I've pretty much just called up the "front desk" via selecting "car" and "delivery" from the automated system and they pretty much handle anything I've asked them to. But maybe your situation is slightly different for some reason.

I agree with this. I never waited for any person to call me and would immediately call the service center to get stuff done. That included scheduling the delivery, checking over my loan documents and going over all the pre-delivery stuff to make sure everything was good to go. They were also...

Just emailed over my loan paperwork and paid my down payment. Service Center confirmed that the car has passed inspection and that they have everything and delivery is confirmed for tomorrow, though the time range is basically the entire day. Excitement is building.

Looks like I am set for a home delivery on the 26th. Car is currently still at Fremont so that should give them some time to inspect and clean it before delivery. Getting excited!

Bay Area VIN Received! Have had the EDD mainly stuck in the 09/08-09/28 window for almost two weeks. It then jumped to 09/02-09/22 for a day and then yesterday jumped forward again to 08/22-08/29. This morning, I received the VIN notification via email and am now in the process of locking down...

Surprisingly, my EDD changed to Aug 22-29 today after being stuck in Sept for the past week or so. That's the smallest window I have ever had, but no VIN yet.

If you're late in June then I expect closer to a late Sept delivery date for you, with maybe VIN by mid-Sept? But that's just a guess. A lot of the SR+ orders got pushed to Sept/Oct but I have a feeling that when you ordered in June will be about the timeframe in Sept that you'll get it...

I think that might only be true in Canada? I haven't heard of anyone getting floor mats in the U.S. for the SR+ model.

That is a good question. It certainly seems like SR+ production has slowed. I do think we'll see a flood of SR+ VINs next month, though, as Tesla attempts to catch up after an obvious focus on P and LR models.

Looking at all the recent responses, it seems almost all SR+ deliveries have been pushed into the September (or later) timeframe, even for folks who ordered at the end of May (which sucks). I expect things are going to be a bit quiet in this thread for the next couple of weeks with a large wave...

Is it for a SR+? It seems any early to mid-June orders (and probably late May) are looking like end of quarter deliveries at this point. It's gonna be the mad scramble by Tesla to get out as many cars as they can again.

Mine is pretty much stuck at 9/8 - 9/28 so in a similar boat as you, though my order date was 06/03.

I'm up in the Bay area and mainly had August EDD estimates until about a week or so ago. EDD disappeared and then came back as Sept dates. It's been hanging around in Sept ever since. Ordered June 3rd.

Feeling bad for you, but also in the same boat with a 6/3 order date and EDD mainly bouncing back between 9/9-9/29 and 9/8-9/28. I had a brief moment of hope when it jumped forward to 9/2-9/22 but that quickly changed back to 9/9-9/29 today.

Yowzers! That is crazy. Well, at least if you order now, you are well aware of the wait you will have versus folks here who have potentially gotten EDDs pushed back and sucked into the September "end-of-the-quarter" push.

Hopefully you'll get yours on the closer part of that range :) Yeah, I'm not sure why my June 3rd order has a wide Sept 8-28 window still. My only movement these days is back and forth to Sept 9-29.

I think the only Bay Area deliveries have been mainly LR models... I haven't really come across many folks with SR+ that have received deliveries even with early June order dates. I have seen some May orders come though, though.

Man, if your order was in May, then my early June order timeframe means I probably still have at least a few more weeks before there is any chance of a VIN for us Bay Area folks. Seems like SoCal folks are getting the love right now. I'm just hoping I don't get sucked into the end-of-quarter...

For all you Bay Area folks, I drove by the Tesla "storage" area they have near the Dublin Service Center yesterday (it's basically a parking lot they use near a closed Hooters) and there were a ton of Model 3s parked there, with another group of them being off-loaded from a transport truck...

I feel your pain. Where are you located and what specs did you get? When I ordered I jokingly thought I would be part of the end-of-the-quarter push, but thought that an early June ordering date would have prevented that. Apparently not.

Mine got moved back to Sept 9 - 29 like 3-4 days ago and hasn't budged. Was constantly in the Aug timeframe before it disappeared completely for 2-3 days. I'm in the Bay Area so am assuming I am getting punished for being close to the Fremont factory, but it sucks given I ordered on 6/03.

Yeah, mine reappeared too and is now showing September 5 - September 25. Considering I placed an order on June 3rd, it seems true that folks close to the Fremont factory get shafted a bit.
