After scraping, I was able to get a red model 3 ordered, was perfect, till I was in the payment portion in the predelivery steps, and it was higher than what it said initially, to find out it had the white interior, ughhh, back to refreshing I go.

I also found out from my local DA that if you purchase a vehicle cross country, you can fly to pick it up. It is cheaper than the 2000$ and you get some long road trip experience with the car right away!

That might be in other states but it is mostly a cali thing, unfortunately I do not have any rebates, so hopefully in my case no unexpected fees like that haha.

I have the tesla info to the whole US, and then the tesla site set to fremont, CA, even though I live in wisconsin since if I got one out there, I would just fly out and then drive it back.

It comes and goes, I would suggest not worrying as much for an EDD, just go off the original estimate at the time of order, and then check every couple of days for an update like a vin or the tesla vision notice. This is not for everyone, but from what I've been seeing, if your order was made...
