Me too. I had a text chat with them earlier and hey presto 28th September delivery date. Teeny bit late but all good. Now… I need a charger, sell the polo, insurance… and could do with a new house and driveway as I live in a mid terrace house! Hmm think I’ve got my priorities skewed a bit here…

Yep chat told me ‘last days of September’ but they confirmed my vin as the same as source code. I asked if I could get it earlier if I was flexible on my pickup location but no go either. I assume that must mean one of the last ships and not grand Ruby… hmmm

Nope same here. Got allocation text two weeks ago but no date. Ordered 28 July.

I just looked at AXA and it said the car was too expensive to insure???

That’s good going. I ordered same model on 28 July and I’ve had allocation text but nothing else. Looked up the VIN today 317*** but not sure where else to take it now.

I tried this today and the 5yj didn’t work but when I searched the extract from the screenshot above about ‘insurance’ I found it. Not sure how to find out more now though.

Ah that’s a good idea. There is a call back on inventory so I might ask them to ring me!! Might upgrade to a red one if I can get it sooner.

Yeh it did seem weird with the inventory still having a ‘wait till it’s ready’ timescale but post below seems to suggest it could be quicker… all v odd. But… I guess it’s bad timing with everyone wanting a 71 plate? Not sure why I’d be v happy with a 21 plate!
