You can request another dealership. I test drove with Cherry Hill, and when I ordered, it set my delivery dealership to Devon. My Cherry Hill SA (Rodney) reached out to me after the order and asked if I wanted to switch to Cherry Hill and then made the change.

I appreciate the simplicity of CarPlay. It's a fairly intuitive and familiar interface for anyone with a smartphone - which is most everyone. I feel that Tesla has their own user experience model, which adding either Android Auto or CarPlay would clash against. Not to mention potential revenue...

CarPlay does not use HTTP, it uses iAP2 to transfer between the iOS and headunit.

This is a new arena for many classic automakers and I would expect some issues among the first few iterations. Sadly this Chevy Bolt issue may result in many individuals seeing EV’s as problematic and not worth making the switch.
