    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Transformer went in last Tuesday, and wiring took place on Wednesday. Tesla techs were on site yesterday and today. Although one tech this afternoon was reluctant to commit to powering them up today, my wife tried them out a couple hours later and found them live! Believe she was the first to...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

The temp digging in the prior post is filled back in. Pylons showed up again in front of the slots, with a promising notice.

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Brief (unsatisfying) update: Still no transformer. The area in the photo above has been dug up, so maybe a bit more work is needed before power on.

Minor update: The trenching and wiring work to beef up the circuit to power the Superchargers seems to be done. The steel plates have all been removed from the construction site, and the trenches have all been filled in. Still no transformer (maybe this week?)

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

Significant update: I talked with one of the workers (perhaps a Supervisor) as they loaded the concrete vault onto a flatbed this morning. All this equipment is used for the trenching work on Lakewood/Brookes Rds, and it's related to hooking up power for the Superchargers. They needed to connect...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

I looked back through this thread and found zeptomoby's excellent site photos - It seems I was looking at green equipment cabinets - perhaps breakers and power distribution, not a transformer (the gaps in the fence are narrow :)

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

I went by there this morning and peeked through the gaps in the brown equipment fence/wall. I saw what looks like a large green transformer along with (I think) two white supercharger inverters. So, it seems to me that the transformer has been there for a while, unless you all think the green...

Promising development: Concrete transformer enclosure on site now. Still waiting for transformer.
