In July I ordered Y long range White black int no frills. Tesla keeps pushing the date out now Nov Dec. Great cars. Fukt up delivery service. I’m driving a 2018 M3. Maybe I’ll keep it? Could Tesla be shipping US cars out of country for a better price?

By chance, today I went to my Tesla manage order page for new Tesla Y. I see that delivery has been moved from Oct 27-Nov 17 to Nov 10-Dec 8. I was going to go on a 2 month vacation Dec 1. So, Tesla can move delivery date at will? Why wasn’t I notified? Do I have any recourse? This sucks !

Hi bc70: I called local Tesla dealership. Salesman said that from the time I’m assigned a VIN, I have at least 7 days to get my cash together. Does that sound right to you? I thought I’d have more days than that.

I have an RN # but no VIN yet. So maybe I have some time. ? My next step is that I will be notified when docs will be ready for my review.
