Well chalk up another sh**ty experience at the Austin service center, this time the one on S Elmo. I took the car in because the trunk is not seated correctly, there is a huge gap on the left side near the rear window and you can tell the trunk is not aligned with the body panels. Long story...

Thanks to everyone who posted and gave advice. Took me 3 tries to find the right red wire (it was buried way back in the back of the loom, almost like they did it on purpose...), but was able to install successfully!

Picked mine up last night. What a blast to drive. Taking a minute to get used to it, but really happy with the purchase. Next up is a hardwire for the radar detector and heading in for tints in a couple of weeks.

Just got my VIN last night. Delivery 8/30-9/2. Still have to finalize financing and get it paid, but hopefully will have for the long weekend. Order date was 8/4.

Now 8/28-9/6 so no real movement. I find it interesting the difference in estimates that can be 3-4 weeks on order dates that are 1-2 days apart, or how some windows are 3-4 weeks and others are 10 days or less.

Did you use a similar method for ground as m1x? Any other differences in the 2021 I should look out for? Thanks!

I am going to be giving this a go when my 2021 performance shows up in a few weeks. Any issues with your install since this time? I assume the two holes you refer to for ground are fairly easy to spot?

Hi All - Add me to those in the waiting room. Ordered our performance on August 4th. Current EDD is August 27-September 6. Initially EDD was 8/17-9/11 and window has been tightening. Went with Deep Blue/White. Can't wait to get the car.
