Same here. If you look at the options for updating the unit, they all want .bin files, which I don't think it is.

I got my 2.0 a couple of weeks ago and it has the January 2021 firmware. I tried updating to the Sept. 2021 update as outlined here, but I can't get it to install. I am hoping this update will keep the wifi connection between my 2.0 and 2021 MY from dropping every five to ten minutes.

Waylink is the wifi network's name on my unit. It cannot be edited, like the password, which you can change from 88888888 if you want. I do not get the green wifi icon, nor can I even detect the unit's Waylink network with my phone or computer. I'll try the hard wifi reset on my phone...
