The only thing I didn't think to try in a week of frustration was RE-BOOTING THE CAR! As in pressing and holding both scroll wheels simultaneously until the system shuts down. Release and the system comes up again in a minute or so, FIXING THE APP PROBLEM. Hope this helps someone somewhere. Bob
