For anyone wondering, when your Tesla Account page dashboard shows the year in front of the model Y, that is when the VIN showed up. - Makes me think the VIN associating also puts the year in front of your car on the dashboard.

VIN changed happened when I refreshed the page. Very unexpected.

Seems mores updates are happening online. EDD just moved (as of 2 minutes ago) now to Aug 29th - Sept 3rd. Exciting times! Hoping others are getting news EDDs and VINs.
