Rear drive unit went out. $7820 to replace. Luckily for me, the unit was under a 4 year 50k mile warranty. I didn't pay anything out of pocket. However, this is the 2nd drive unit I have replaced in 2 years. Not sure what the quality of these units are. New drive units should last at least 10...

Thank you. Checked all that. Electrician used 60amp. Wall Connector Support team rep confirmed my old 2013 Model S onboard amp max is 40A. Bummer.

I just had an electrician install a gen 3 wall connector with 60amp for my 2013 Model S and I am not getting 48/48 amp charging. I am only getting 40amp charging. Not sure why either.
