I was supposed to pick up yesterday and they pushed it to this Friday for the same reason (in Austin). I think rail/truck is just overloaded as I’ve been getting UPS/FedEx/etc stuff late as well in the past ~2 weeks

They are not allowed to take payment at delivery, as far as I know, due to the dealership laws here

It was posted a while ago but just calling myself. I have a delivery scheduled so I called the SC I’ll pick it up from (local area code) and it went to the same automation system as the 888 number

The SCs don’t have individual numbers anymore FWIW (they all redirect) so maybe that’s the difference

How are you contacting them? I’ve only called 2-3 times (the 888 number) and chose “vehicle delivery” but it’s never taken more than 5-10min on hold to get someone

To complete the meme, you guys have an SA? I’ve never been contacted by the same person from Tesla more than once

How do you get the location info? I have one being delivered in Austin on Tuesday so I’m curious to know where it is, but I don’t want to call them over it

Nope. FedEx still showing they don’t even have it yet. Was concerned that would block scheduling a delivery but guess not, so I’m less concerned

Called the service line to ask if they could install the HomeLink thing while taking delivery (the answer is no). HOWEVER, I asked if she could tell me where it was and she set me up with a pickup date (earliest slot on the earliest day!). So I pickup on the 31st (sad) at 10am in Austin.

The only other threads I can find mentioning the trade-in packet seem to have a delivery date 2-3 days after mentioning it. Trying not to get too excited haha
