I sold my car through carmax (made almost $4k) on Sunday because my loan is conditionally approved. I wanted to get all the paperworks they needed done before I take delivery.

Don’t cancel it yourself, your SA should do it for you. Your SA should’ve asked you if you want to cancel or keep your original order. I texted my SA right after I placed my order so he’s aware. I mentioned to him about the $100 from my initial order and he transferred it for me.

If your loan was conditionally approved and you are trading in with tesla, you just have to upload your car information and a picture of your odometer and all the defects (if noted) But if you decide to sell to carmax, vroom etc. you’re going to have to upload a proof of trade in.
