Are you in Storm Watch? Last year, there's was a bug where SW charged my battery, the event started and started discharging while in SW. Edited: At 5:50 my area went into a T-Storm warning. 5 minutes later Storm Watch kicked in with 1 hour left in the event.

They've always prioritized charging the battery on event days. They're just being more transparent about it. This is my 4th year in the program. My 2 PW have lost capacity as they stop discharging about 1:50 into the event.

Yesterday was a 3 hour event. I seem to recall the discharge rate was adjusted so the PW would be able to discharge over the 3 hours. I have 2 PW and at 10 kw they barely make it to 2 hours.

Does SREC-I end after 10 years? I'm on SREC-II and it lasts for 10 years. I have a separate production meter that sends the data to MA-CEC for reporting.

My panel is full. Tesla made the panel a subpanel and the gateway became the new main panel. They added another subpanel which has the solar feeds and 2 PW. Both subpanels are connect at the gateway. My entire house is backed up.

Without doing the math, it feels like NG is reversing the high increase from this winter if you use NG as your supplier. I’m on a town sponsored plan at 10.47 cents/kWh so I always benefit from selling back to the grid.

I just received the email addressed to Maryann which is not correct. I checked my address in the app and my street address was blank. City, State and Zip were correct. This isn't my first check. Feels like someone screwed up and lost address info.

MA (Nat Grid) used to have a winter season. I enrolled in 2020 and had 1 winter event in January 2021. Wound up with a $240 check for 1 event.

It's the end of the season. I think they sent it to get ahead of the "where's my check" inquiries.

I had the same issue on Tuesday. Did a chat with support and they could see the battery discharging whilen in SW. Today, event started at 4, SW kicked in at 4:34. Discharge stopped and grid charging started. Once SW ended discharging continued until 6 at 55%.

So now the discharge event started and still in storm watch. The battery is now discharging what it pulled in for storm watch. Someone messed up the programming.

I think the only way to stop it is to flip the gateway breaker so you go off grid. I understand why the events are always late afternoon but it's one of the drawbacks. There's not enough solar at the end of the event to charge the battery if something happens to the grid. 20% won't get me...

Another weird one today. Was in grid services until the PWs were charged. No event took place. At 7PM the PWs started powering my house.

Me too. The future radar had me in a huge red area for 45 minutes. I thought Storm Watch might happen but the storm has since fallen apart.

Had my second discharge yesterday which worked correctly. However, this morning instead of 100% solar going to the battery, it's splitting solar to power the house. It used to divert 100% of the solar to my self powered setting of 75%.

The old version of the Tesla app used to show the power discharged and used by Grid Services. It went away at the end of last summer's program. I was hoping they would bring it back.

The behavior is what happens with the Connected Solutions program. When an event is planned, the battery gets all solar production until it's charged. During this time, the entire house load comes from the grid.

I’m NG in MA. I believe it means NG has approved their side of the project so Tesla can proceed. It becomes approved once you get a net meter and approval to interconnect.
