Ended up scheduling for Monday since I'm off and can have someone drive down with me. Can't believe it's actually here. Doesn't feel real.

Do I call Tesla direct (like their 800 number) or contact the delivery location to have them switch my payment so I can redo my financing? The location is closed at the moment so I'll have to call in the morning if so.

So got a surprise VIN. I saw the email saying final payment due (I have to call them to switch to financing) and now it has my delivery date as 9/8-9/11. Do I really have to get this by saturday? I might need an extra day or so to get down there. Unless I can make it work sometime saturday.

Also did anyone do anything with the insurance beforehand. My state needs a VIN so I should have to wait for that. I just want to make sure there isn't anything to do beforehand that might hold up the process. I'm assuming not though.

Glad to see all this movement! Seems like they've been pretty accurate for the most part which gives me hope.

Damn, at least it's not at the end yet. I wonder if the CA deliveries are quicker from VIN to delivery since it's so close to the factory.

Do they typically email or is it by text? I’m going to be without my phone for a few days so I’m hoping nothing is explicitly needed with that. Hopefully I’ll have it back by the end of the week.

My delivery date was very close to yours, no VIN yet though. Wonder if the cars are in the same “batch” or something. No idea how these cars are shipped around the country but KY is obviously on the way east, I’m guessing by rail for a majority of the trip.

Is their updating pretty random or does it seem to happen around the same time everyday? I feel like it’s normally been morning times for me. Now I can be anxious every morning!

Ouch, that sucks. Hope it drops back down again. Carvana offered me a pretty good price for my car so I'm hoping I get mine in the estimated window I have (9/18-9/29). I don't really want to risk the prices pulling back. Or just the milage increasing on my car causing it to drop a bit.

My EDD is still the 16-30th of sept. No VIN yet, I'm guessing I would get one next week if I'm closer to the front end of that window. I really do have to give them a call to fix my delivery info and get my financing in order.

That's good to hear. I have to give them a call to get my financing sorted since they bumped my date up. I wanted to see if I could changed my delivery location anyway.

Just got an updated date from 9/16-9/30 from my november date. Oh man, I was expecting a little more time. Good thing carvana was offering me a good price on my lease. I guess I should call tesla to get my financing in order huh.

Is the lease through Tesla themselves or do they use a 3rd party bank for the lease as well?

A bit outside the lehigh valley area. It was always saying november when I clicked the LR model. Did yours say longer then was bumped up or was it always ordered with that date?

Wow that's a big jump. I just ordered mine on the 29th with an estimated date of 11/3-12/2. Wouldn't mind an October delivery myself.
