Went to KAL Tire in Scarborough, this morning. Turns out that while the camber was good, the car was toed-out a bit, which explains the occasional "drift". Seems pretty good now.

I just find the Tesla cost for the wheel. Alignment are excessive. Kal Tire charges $149 for the same service using Hunter alignment equipment. Tesla costs on the other hand, are $330. While I can afford it, I just find the cost to be ridiculous. Now facing having to pay my deductible for a...

Sadly, I don’t think this is the same Tesla that you experienced in 2018. This is now a company motivated by sales and to a great extent, Elon Musk’s greed in my honest opinion.

I was stunned at how quick the process was with CAA Insurance. I uploaded my pics and estimate from Excellence Auto Collision and the next day, I had approval. Great user experience. Their rates are pretty good for GTA folks. Highly recommend.

Oh so slight nick on it but the estimator put is in. $225 part. I would’ve just touched it up with a black sharpie.

This is probably been answered before, but can anyone recommend a good wheel alignment service in the GTA? I would prefer one who is quite familiar with Teslas. I am not sure that I actually need one, but I would really like to get it checked out since the car continues to drive pretty straight...

Yes. On their website. They are sold as a kit or individually. At least if anything should happen to your car, they would have to cover when using their products.

Your best to get the official Tesla package of adaptors for your mobile charger. Messing around with any other brand or Amazon cost-effective solution, might be playing with fire, literally. Just my two cents.

Any thoughts? My car info is in the signature. O just notice this recently as I wasn’t paying attention before. Tried 2 figure reset and hard reset with brake. Now did a software reinstall. Is this a bug?

I am assuming that you do not have the connectivity package? Does FSD not run without your hotspot? I'm confused. Have you tested with your hotspot turned off? I don’t think you covered this bit of detail. Thank you.

I’ll go with a hard no. No airbags or pyro fuse? Makes sense that the alignment is off. Maybe broke some sensors too, but I doubt a wright-off. Just my 2¢

Sentry does tend to be also known for its "vampire" drain. I forget how much %/day it does. You might want to just try it out for getting the proper data points on it, though.

That is most unfortunate. The low profile tire/rim combo comes with that challenge. Sadly, I don’t think AP, EAP or FSD, can really handle that sort of thing.

My partner had a 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring GLS for close to 14 years and other than wear and tear, no other issues. Great car but dumb tech. She now has a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek - way better car.

Believe me, the "greenhouse effect" can happen really fast when you least expect it this helps a lot!
