There is also a new, almost ready supercharger on i80 at Girard, OH just north of Youngstown OH and east of where i80 becomes the OH Turnpike. This will be useful for future trips and by images just seen, it's almost ready for opening.

This is brilliant for someone driving West from NYC along i80 (me). It'd be about perfect for a second stop on a westbound route. The quick diversion before the Turnpike and tolls begin is an added bonus. There's a burger King nearby which doesn't hurt.

I wonder if there's a way to request chargers at a particular spot? I'd love to have a V3 site at Portage (WB) or Brady's Leap (EB) on the same turnpike. That closes all gaps on my regular NYC to Chicago route although the ones in PA are all V2.

Right on i90 you will find V3 chargers at Rolling Prairie & Howe service plazas in both directions in Indiana. In Ohio, the chargers in this thread are the first ones to come to an Ohio turnpike service plaza although there are a few off the turnpike as well.

Local traffic, if they're going far east or west would use the pike anyway. Those who are within 100 miles of their home wouldn't really need to use it. Of course, this one will definitely reduce the load on Maumee as it's so convenient.

Either way, this is the missing piece of my annual father-in-law visit roadtrip from NYC to Chicago. We do 4 stops on gas and would do 4 on electric. 2 short toilet stops ~10 min, 2 longer meal stops. Amazing to think I can do this next year.

My first post on this community. This is music to my ears! My wife and I will get a Model 3 LR in July '22 when our current lease runs out and we regularly drive NYC to Chicago to visit family with a trip expected end August '22. In our current gas car, we do 4 stops over the 820 mile distance...
