This has started happening to me in the last few weeks. Totally reliable before then. Now I'm worried about getting locked out when I go for a bike ride and don't take my card key.

Same here - I have a 2021 US spec M3P and the OBD-II connector is not present behind the driver footwell panel.

I just checked on my 2021 M3P and there is no OBD-II connector behind the driver footwell cover :-(

Yes --- this is totally my own fault for assuming that a Model Y is just a Model 3 on stilts. Just wanted to post so nobody else does the same.

I just bought one of these from Amazon, using the link above, and it does not fit in the frunk of my 2021 M3P. It's about an inch too deep (front to back) and several inches too tall to close the frunk lid. Oh well... it'll fit in the back I guess.

Very entertaining! I took a quick look at the docs on the website and didn't see any mention of programming the projector headlights with custom messages (like the TESLA logo used in the standard demo) I'm sure people could find a bunch of interesting uses for that ;-)

Just for the record ... my car was on 2021.36.5.5 this morning, with the software update option set to 'standard'. I changed the update preference to "Advanced" and the car immediately started downloading 2021.44.6 So I think this clarifies whether the 'Advanced/Normal' option makes any difference.
