I have similar (-1 day) dates for VIN & text and yesterday used the magic link to schedule collection from Southampton on the 10th December, 9th to 11th we’re shown as available at the time. does that fit with likely arrival of GRAND DAHLIA too?

I just got my VIN in source yesterday for a 31st August order, I'm in UK so not directly comparable but there are a few of us with such long gaps and with delivery/payment in the quarter so important to Tesla, I'm sure you'll be OK

No I think the difference here is that we have always had Standard Connectivity plus a trial subscription of Premium for 30 days or 1 year unlike when the Premium Connectivity is included in the car for life i.e. as was with Model S and X cars ordered before July 2018.. same as free...

Yes that's interesting, this changed on 15th October so orders for LR & Perf placed on or before then should still get the 1 year trial subscription though this is implied, but not explicit here: Connectivity look for the table at the bottom

I ordered (M3 LR MSM, Aeros) 31st August and still haven't heard anything from Tesla, no VIN, nothing... when I've used chat, phone or even gone into the Winchester store, the answer is always the same: "you're waiting for a match". I did change the colour from Black to MSM...

definitely plan to... if my car ever comes! It was my view that the very small difference between the M3 Performance 0-60 (remember quoted without rollout) and the Acceleration boosted LR AWD didn't justify the extra 10k and the downsides of the Performance model i.e. lower clearance, stiffer...

check you have the correct locale i.e. Eng GB since you get this in dialogue for other countries

I'm cash buyer too, however I think the implication of the finance vs. cash priority was that finance might actually be preferred/prioritised by Tesla since it is financially to their advantage? Also my Southampton pick-up could mean that there's more leeway to delay my order vs. one that then...

Still no VIN for my 31st August order (M3LR AWD, MSM, Black, 18" Aero). While I understand matching orders and cars isn't a transparent or deterministic process, others ordering later getting VINs for the same config is adding to my frustration. Anyone else in the same boat or rather not?

Likely because you have UK/English region selected on laptop a different region on mobile.
