Refreshed LR & Plaid FSD News & Complaint Thread

I had mentioned this on another thread but this makes it even clearer that there is an opportunity to offer EAP on the new LR/Plaid. I don't want FSD and it seems that even if I could make it through all the BS I wouldn't get the Beta anyway. I like the EAP features, would use them and would...

    Plaid FSD 10.2 thread

Thanks for the confirmation. I do think that Tesla is missing a revenue opportunity here. After all it is just software. I would be willing to pay a subset of the $199/month for a subset of the FSD features. I do this all the time in my software business after all some incremental recurring...

    Initial yoke impressions

My apologies - WilliamG is correct. I played around with the turn signals again. There is definitely only a single press now. No light press or hard press of the turn signals. I have tried a variety of scenarios to confirm this. Basically you now just press left or right turn signal button...

    Plaid FSD 10.2 thread

I have the 2021 Model S LR. Did not purchase FSD yet. I was told that enhanced autopilot is no longer an option and never was on the new Model S. Seems it is full FSD or nothing. I agree that many of the FSD features are very cool but don't think I would use them much (at least for now)...

    Initial yoke impressions

From my experience, this is how it seems to work: 1) Changing lanes/exiting hwy - press the desired direction with a light press. Turn signal comes on and turns off on its own when you have completed the lane change. Duration depends on how long you take to make the change. No second button...

    Initial yoke impressions

Well it seems the latest update has addressed the problem (to some level). Now, the car determines what maneuver you are doing that requires turn signal to be activated (lane changes, exiting hwy, etc.). I have tested it in a variety of scenarios. For the most part it works very well. There...

    Initial yoke impressions

Hi everyone - new to forum - this is my first post I have had new Model S LR for about a month now. Overall I love the car. I am getting used to the yoke and overall I don't have a major problem and am getting used to getting out of garage, tight spaces, etc. by doing a sort of strange hand...
