I am getting that from my SA as well. She is suggesting to go with whatever i get now and sell / trade it in a year from now with the market being what it is. the new concern i personally have is the heat pump issue more than the AMD vs Intel at this point. Regardless, new owner in 3 days : )

Got a message from my SA that my car which was manufactured on Jan 5th will not have the new chip. They have been told by HQ that around mid to end of Q2 all cars will have the new chip but until then a few here and there will have it as they ramp up. FYI to anyone still wondering. oh and btw...

I am taking delivery in 10 days and the car was manufactured on the 5th. i asked the SA if she can tell which chip it has and she said no. she did add that she thinks they all have the latest tech which leads me to believe they just say that to calm people down but have no idea.

OD Aug and EDD was Jan 20 to Feb 23. Today I get a call to say your MYLR is on its way to Toronto:) pick up scheduled for Jan 20th. I almost don't want to celebrate until it's in my garage but I can't help being giddy lol. Have a great weekend everyone and good luck with your orders.

Yup, iam a few days from you, OD Aug 25th and the EDD is Jan 23rd to Feb 20th. friends with similar builds got theirs already. such a stupid process, some transparency would help for sure.

I think you are right. The SA lied and said cancelling the FSD wont make a difference, my sister ordered a week after me with the same exact build but with FSD. She took possession already while i was pushed to Jan 25-Feb 20. btw OD was Aug.. so they gave her the car because it would net them an...

You know what the funny / sad thing is? when we ordered in Aug, the interest rate was 2.49 and then it went up to 2.9x and then now i have the same as you, 3.15 which btw just changed to 3.5 a few days ago lol. the longer this goes the more expensive the car gets.

I am from Toronto as well, who did you go with? they suggest Aviva at the dealership. i am waiting for my VIN ( Dec 11-25) to finalize but so far a few do not even have 2022 Teslas on their lists.

Yea i hear you, i have been trying to shop for insurance and a few of them have not added 2022 Teslas or just model 3 but not Y. they apparently update their list every month and Tesla did not make the Dec cut. limits the options as the car is coming in 2 weeks.

Order MYLR ordered on Aug 24th and lately the EDD settled on Dec 08-24. Toronto.
