Upon further research it seems that you can update/change navigation maps via USB update. For that reason you need to enable Service+ mode.

The way to bring back all those services EXCEPT navigation is to replace the LTE modem.

Can anyone please explain how the region is changed?

I notice that a lot of people are asking about changing their car maps to the current region where they live at the moment which happens to be different of the region where the car was originally sold. This may happen for a lot of reasons, but unfortunately Tesla doesn't provide any solution...

Hi. You can restore your LTE connection by replacing the LTE modem with one manufactured for your current region. That will bring back Youtube, Netflix, Dashcam and phone app connectivity. It will also show you navigation maps, but won't navigate.

I own Hansshow 10.25 android display (MT2712) and it also has the same issue. The car can't find it's bluetooth. Android Auto works, but only through the small speaker on the back. Does anyone have the latest firmware files?

Hi Tesla fans. I am working on a 2019 Model 3. I get the following error code "BMS_a035_SW_Isolation". The car closes the HV contactors for a while, but then opens them again and the error message pops out. Does anyone have any clues what may be causing this?

Yes, the car connects to WiFi and still no connection to the app. If you see my first post, it won't even connect to a Tesla technician's computer. He suggested it may be because the main battery does not power up some modules. And again as in my initial post - can you charge the main battery...

The connection is good, but the firmware is very old, so it won't update to the newest. Also I don't want to update to the latest firmware, because if I decide to root the car, it won't be as easy.

12V battery is good. Screen comes on. All electrics inside the car work. Charging port flap operates. Headlights, blinkers, horn and soon are working too.

Thank you for the reply android04. The current software version is v9.0. I was told NOT to update, because later versions do not allow rooting if I have to go that way. But even if I wanted, the car will not update anyway. It is connected ti WiFi, but will not download the update.

Hello Tesla fans. Recently I bought a salvage Tesla Model 3. The car had a bad PCS and I have replaced it with another one. Sadly the battery won't charge because of "Incompatible software versions" error. Any idea how to sort this?
