Makes sense. When the Delivery window moved up to 1/7 at the same time I got the VIN I assumed the car had already been built and was on it's way. Weird that they changed the window from 1/14-2/11 up to 1/7-1/11 when that timeframe wasn't feasible, only to eventually move it back.

Unfortunately nobody knows and nobody can give you a solid answer on that. It's possible the bill passes before then, after then, or not at all. Nothing is finalized yet.

I had the same issue when I tried to test drive towards the end of Q3. Decided to place my order to lock in the pricing and delivery timeline (LOL), then try to test drive later to decide if I would keep the reservation. I watched the test drive scheduling page like a hawk for about two weeks...

Welp my EDD just jumped way up. Ordered 9/22 with an original EDD of March, then was at Jan 17-Feb 14 for a long time, and now is Dec 11-25th. Way sooner than I was planning, and I'm really not looking to take delivery until January. Hopefully it won't be too much hassle to delay a few weeks...

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty surprised to see how minimal the range loss is with added weight, but regen braking helping in that regard definitely makes sense.

I have a MYLR on order and my dad is considering ordering one as well. He carries a lot of gear around for work (about 400lbs) and wants to know how the range is affected with that amount of weight in the back of the car. I'm assuming there is some loss, but haven't been able to find a good...

The blue Tesla paint confuses me. It looks so drastically different in different lighting. I love it in the second photo...almost make me want to change my order from Midnight Silver.
