Maybe not in CA, but you can definitely buy a house, or two, which can give you 20K+ annual income if the houses are near any college.

You can directly call them and the robot will ask whether you want a callback. You can hang up and wait 2+ hours. I called them twice before 10 am and get a call back after 1 pm.

The quality control really amazes me for a 100K+ car.

I have a question regarding the car wash. Since I live in the northeast, there will be a huge amount of salt in the winter. How do you guys clean the salt underneath the car? Do you just drive it to the auto car wash? The cleaning guide on Tesla's website is pretty scary.

My EDD narrowed to Aug 20 - Sep 10, which I think is a good sign. Hope it won't be pushed further. July 21 order. 5-seat white cream 20", updated to Enhanced Autopilot two weeks ago.

I think it is normal. My EDD got pushed back about 3 weeks, but the range is narrower. Anyway, I don't care about the EDD anymore. Simply live my normal life until a VIN is assigned.

July 21 order also received the hold email. I hope they can give me a VIN and deliver sooner. The new car inventory rises gradually, which is devaluing my trade-in(5k less than 4 months ago).

That is the spirit. When my EDD was January, I expected April delivery. When my EDD was March, I expected July. Now, I think I won't get the car until December. LR 5 seater in July 2021.

Does the mx price do down? I thought my order was $10k less than the newest price, but it is $5k less as I checked today. My order was placed in July. ----------- Edit: False alarm. I watched the price with "potential savings". The purchase price is still $104, 990.

Had a test drive of the Model Y at Milford CT, and had a chat with the staff there. They delivered a Plaid MX 6 seater recently. That order was placed 10/2020. I didn't ask too much detail, so that's all I learned.

I think this short video explains everything about the seats in 6-seaters. The mid-row clearly won't fold. The 3rd-row can fold flat.

My wife loves the FWD on the X. I offered MS + MY to her, but she declined. If we are buying a Tesla, there must be an X with that FWD. TBH, I just feel I spent 100K+ for two doors.

After reading your post, I checked and my January EDD also disappeared. BTW, the trade-in asking me to update the odometer reading and loan application asking for a re-submit (old credit is expired). Could that be the reason? Do I have to update those two things now or I can wait until I got a VIN?
