    Window opened by itself?

While driving I notice wind noise sporadically and realize one or both of the rear windows is down an inch or two. This is very annoying.

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

Don’t appreciate the snarky remarks. I just wanted to report the follow up.

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

Not sure I would recommend the car. There are so many little glitchy things I dislike. Why doesn’t the glovebox just have a button on it to open? Why don’t the windows return to fully up atlfter opening the corresponding door? Why isn’t the time on the screen more prominent? I am leasing for...

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

Ok here is followup. IT WAS LACK OF TREADS on both rear tires. We thought we had checked them but in fact they were totally bald at 8k miles. Not sure why the factory tires wore out so quickly but they were smooth as ice. My spouse had checked them but admittedly it was night time and raining...

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

(moderator note) moved here from another thread this was posted in, because there is an active discussion in this thread created by this OP) ================================== I had a horrendously scary experience on the freeway during recent heavy rains in LA. My car slipped out beneath me...

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

Agree I need to be much readier for this but I don’t plan on ever driving on the freeway again in rainy conditions. I encourage people to google about this issue. There are others out there reporting on this. There is even a dash cam YouTube post on it. Unfortunately my dashcam did not capture...

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

No but my last several cars have been front wheel drive.

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

My car has the standard wheels and has 7k miles. I would agree that the massive hydroplaning on the freeway was driver error except for the fact that my husband and I are experiencing significant traction loss and more minor hydroplaning episodes on rainy surfaces on the freeway and city roads...

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

Today I had the most frightening driving experience of my entire life. It was raining heavily and I was going about 60 mph on the freeway in my model 3 standard, 3 months new. Suddenly I lost all traction and was slipping side to side +/-90 degrees from the direction of traffic. I immediately...

    2021 Trunk Damage Upon Open/Close

Last update- I picked my car up and it is fixed. It took about 10 days most of which I had a model x loaner. They did not replace anything but just fixed the damage. The supposed cost was about 575$ but was covered under warranty. Santiago the service rep said he has seen this issue w model 3’s...

    2021 Trunk Damage Upon Open/Close

Update- I dropped my car off at the service station a week ago, and they sent it to their body shop. They said they had never seen this issue before but I t would be covered under warranty. Initially they did not have a loaner so they gave me $400 of Uber credit ($100 per day of expected length...

    2021 Trunk Damage Upon Open/Close

Same problem! My model 3 is about 6 weeks old and the trunk pops at the side amd doesn’t close all the way when I use the button. This is an awful flaw and I hope will be covered under warranty. I happened to have an appointment tomorrow for installment of Homelink garage door opener ( can’t...
