Mine is E5LD (new battery) and I don't have the AB upgrade option in the app. But I'd much rather have the extra range from this new battery anyway. Car displays ~355 miles at 100%.

Check again with Admiral. They do not mind you having PPF, they just don't insure it. It should not be noted as cosmetic stickers though, that's what bumped your premium by £200. For mine they just added some notes to the policy rather than adding it as a modification. Recommend calling again...

Admiral told me today that PPF doesn't matter to them, doesn't even need to be noted down on the policy as a modification, and thus no change to premium. As such it of course won't be covered under the policy, but it won't invalidate any claims or anything like that.

I've picked up an identical looking set from Tessories. I've seen recommendations to have some PPF underneath them to protect the paint from being rubbed by the mud flaps where they tuck around the corner.

@MESSIAH The 82kWh E5LD is a new LG variant, not Panasonic (3=Panasonic, 5=LG). Was holding out for that myself, so put an order in mid Nov for next quarter once I saw the date slipped to March -- and then ended up with a December delivery date haha. Given that they're still saying 360 miles...

LFP is only SR+, Li-Ion NMC for LR and Performance (as opposed to Li-Ion NCA previously).

When are we expecting to see deliveries for vehicles with the E5LD batteries for the M3LR? Are Q4 2021 deliveries likely to have these batteries? Particularly interested in the UK market (which I'm guessing will probably lag behind, so maybe Q1 2022?), but am I right to think they've not...

For the UK market (currently showing est delivery November for M3LR), is it reasonable to assume that the 380 mile LR will be in the batch after that set of deliveries? If so, is that subsequent batch likely to be for December delivery or Q1? If Q1, are we thinking early or late Q1?

Took a test drive at Newcastle today and asked about lead times, and the rep told me that December is looking more likely than November at this point as allocations are going out thick and fast. Tempted to take the plunge but also want to see if the range estimate for the LR gets bumped to 380...
