    So after rejecting a car during delivery, my EDD finally updated after the hold. May 12 - June 9. Hopefully there is a better update. Lol.

    I have the same scenario. Rejected the car on the 31st and the car was put on hold until 4 Feb. The same day the car came off hold and now has an EDD of 31 Jan - 4 Feb. Not sure what's going on.

    Well I'm back in the queue. I attempted to take delivery this morning, but I rejected it. Chipped paint on the trunk and multiple panel misalignment... maybe a bad day on the line. My SA was fantastic, but ultimately I couldn't accept with that much touchup paint. I'm trying to stay...

    Keep us updated if you find out about this required update. Does that happen often to new deliveries? I was suppose to pickup on Saturday as well, but preemptively moved to Monday when I saw the winter storm coming.

    No idea. It read on reddit that some SAs were stating free chip upgrades if you take delivery after the roadmap. I don't think it's going to happen, but if it's causing enough logistically turmoil, I can see them offering it to settle down the rejected VINs. Who knows?

    I was reading that too and it would be awesome if we got free CPU upgrades. With all the rejected VINs, I can only imagine the logistic/scheduling nightmare it creates.

    There was a switch in Oct. I had the 1 year before the deadline, but I changed the color after. Now I only have 30 days. Not the biggest deal but annoying.

    I'm in the same boat as you. Canceling costs me $1250 and I figured I would get assigned an Intel again. I don't remember there being an issue with the Intel chip on the test drive or any of my friend's cars. So I'm planning on accepting my car instead of playing the switching game.

    I just hope they make it applicable for the entire tax year and not after the president signs it. I was reading the house approved one and I can't figure out if it would have been retroactive to 1 Jan if signed today hypothetically.

    My hold was canceled automatically at 90 days. The only way I realized it is when they sent me the trade in text. After that I checked the app and there was an EDD.

    Called Tesla and its an Intel processor with a 15 Jan build date. Honestly, the rumor with Model Ys getting them first makes sense to me as they have the higher profit margin.

    Got a VIN this morning too. 158XXX. A hold definitely doesn't put you at the end of the line.

    Yep. When I called they said it was due to the 90 day hold rule eventhough it was approved by my SA manager out to Apr. No biggie and happy to take the delivery sooner.
