Tons of threads on this, but I agree with charlieaf92. If you are coming from a sports car such as a Corvette Z06, BMW M3, C63 AMG, ETC. Then you should ONLY consider the Performance version in my opinion.

That is awesome. They can be a maintenance disaster because of throttle actuators and rod bearings, etc. Gotta buy one from someone who did all of that preventative maintenance honestly.

You are correct... especially with inflation and the used car market. Still cheaper than an F80 at least! E92 M3's were such a great buy 2-3 years ago ughhh.

No you do not need ceramic window tint... ask for a 3M Obsidian Film if they carry 3M. They may try to tell you that it will fade or something like that and to get ceramic.... but it won't. Ceramic does block more UV however.

I am coming from a 2014 Mercedes C63 AMG 507 Edition, I love my M3P and I think its the PERFECT car to have alongside an "older" V8 car such as an E92 M3 or W204 C63. Will pick one of those up when the used car market calms down...
