Agreed. Also I think there is a bad feedback loop in the system. Bad estimates -> orders being put on hold due to early deliveries -> further screws up delivery estimates for others. FWIW I think they're trying to optimise deliveries/estimates as best possible with their current manufacturing...

Updated this morning to Jan 20 - Feb 17. Keeps going farther and becoming wider, are they trying to get me to cancel? Reddit posts show LR and Performance models getting prioritized in the Bay Area, but people who live farther away and ordered SR+ after me getting VINs already

Almost back to square one, EDD is now Dec 9 - Dec 31. Genuinely curious how it’s so difficult to manage logistics and estimate deliveries. At this point the edd is meaningless to me, they will schedule delivery when they schedule delivery 😌

EDD just reappeared this morning and is now Dec 01 - Dec 29.

IMO, there's far too many variables and too few data points to point to any causal relationship between the Hertz deal and impact on deliveries for regular customers.

EDD still September - is anyone else still seeing this too? People who got a VIN recently, did you see this before yours was assigned? Got a couple of frustrating, non-committal texts from my SA (Not even sure they are my SA, they're the person that booked the test drive for me)

Mine still shows September. Should definitely be an error - new orders for Model 3 on the Tesla website also show a June 2022 delivery date lol

Yeah, mine keeps switching between that and the more detailed version. I hope this is just a "side effect" of them assigning some people VINs and moving us up in the queue. "September" is probably their hardcoded default value that gets displayed when assigning VINs. Or maybe I'm overthinking...

My EDD went to September this morning. Ordered M3 SR+ 9/21: white/black/aero. Until now EDD had stayed steady at 12/18-01/07 since ordering. Not sure if this is just a glitch or they really expect me to wait a year to get a car

Congratulations!! I ordered the same specs 9/21, with same pickup location I guess, my EDD is still 12/18-01/07 but this makes me hopeful. Is there an option to switch to loan at all or do they give you an ultimatum to pay up or wait longer?

Ordered white/black/aero SR+ 9/21. No EDD for a week, then been Dec 18- Jan 07 since. Should I expect it to get moved up, or postponed. Seeing a lot of nightmare scenarios posted here about September orders being posted to April and May :o
