Update - sr+ still shows December 3 to December 31. LR now shows November 16 to December 14.

So far the LR just says delivery in December, put that order in yesterday. I figure I can't go wrong with either and if it turns out the federal rebate actually kicks in then I'll definitely go with the LR and enjoy more miles and awd.
