Did you check the source code of the website? You should see a vin now. Do a search in the source code for 5YJ If it finds one that’s the first three letters of a tesla VIN.

Performance boost only gets you half way to the speed of the performance. Track mode is only available on P. lowered suspension on P, bigger wheels and better tires, spoiler. For me I want the fastest 3 I can have. And I really wanted track mode.

I could have been waiting two months, but it worked out well! Last thing I wanted was to pickup a 2021 and a week later for it to be a year old model. And even worse if I had booked my pickup it would have been a year old before I picked it up. Some people don’t care, but I do.

They don’t tell you when you get a VIN. But you will get a text message when you’re able to book your delivery/pickup. That day or the next day you should be able to find the VIN in the source code before you actually schedule the pickup. That’s what happened to me last week. I decided not to...

I’m taking a different approach. If it comes in 2021 and they contact you for delivery just tell them you’re out of the country and can’t make the pick up. They’re give it to someone else and you’ll be next in line. Happens all the time. Much easier than trying to be proactive.

Tesla doesnt generally make changes with the model year change. They make changes during the year whenever they want to. The only change is the year on the paperwork. There’s no rumores changes for 2022 now like there was before last year’s refresh. So wanting to get a 2022 doesnt matter at all...

That’s possible but in 2019 the switched in October too to 2020. Guess we’ll see what I get. I don’t want to accept a 2021 now and lose a year of depreciation in a week.
