How is my LFP battery holding up after 2 years?

I have 238miles left at 67,500 miles. September 2021 SR+LFP “Unicorn”. TeslaFi says “There is no matching fleet data at your current odometer reading.”

    Do You Unplug For Thunderstorms?

It's surprisingly easy to wire in a surge protector into your panel or outlet.

Any Recommendations for Hitch Tow Cargo?

We also use the cheap-o Harbor Freight 500lb Aluminum Cargo Carrier. Works great and surprisingly very light. You can still squeeze between the carrier and bumper to get into the rear of the vehicle. It does not interfere with the hatchback door at all. We put a small cooler and two paddle board...

    Model 3 Seat Comfort

The headrest forces us to crumple like programmers, the seat tray digs into the sides my rear (I’m not large by any means), and the lumbar support presses into my back (passenger side is much more comfortable). All causing pain.

Does anyone find their Model 3 seat very uncomfortable?

A small pad or folded towel will elevate your bottom just above the height of the plastic seat-bottom ridges causing many of us pain. Ridiculous that it’s necessary, but it works.

REAR FACING ONLY child seats in M3- which ones have you used if you're over 6' tall?

Front facing seats for newborns is extremely dangerous. Look into putting a more narrow seat into the middle position. All child seats work well with a seatbelt. At about 3 minutes in you'll see what I'm taking about.

Model Y Performance with LFP battery

The new lithium 12V might be LFP. Just a guess, but would make the statements more consistent.

You might have caught the accelerator when depressing the brake also.

Possible new Tigard, OR Service Center and Sales Room

There's 3 new Oregon centers, and one in Vancouver(WA). Bend and southern OR will be getting new ones as well. I think it's Roseburg, but it could be elsewhere.

Video Breakdown/Walkthrough For Version 11 (2021 Holiday Update)

I absolutely hate the new UI. It had a form of elegance to it that has been replaced by old crap-phone design.

Anyone else dislike the new UI?

Yes!! This is the worst change I’ve ever seen in UI, it’s like we regressed 15 years.

Huge update, V11...thoughts? and any hidden features found yet??

I hate it. I hate it so much. The last version was elegant. This makes me feel like I’m using a crappy old phone.

New update 2021.44.25 adds customizable app launcher like Model S refresh plus other major upgrades to system.

This “update” makes me feel so sad. I hate it. I never thought I’d have such a visceral reaction to a UI change. There’s nothing pleasing about this as there was in the previous.

Does anyone find their Model 3 seat very uncomfortable?

I’ve tried so many different positions, the seat pinches my upper leg bones in the back. You can see it narrows to the back and that pinches my leg bones back there, it cause pain through my leg if I don’t squirm and sit at weird angles to relive the pressure points. It’s quite hard and...

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

We’ve got 7,500mi on the SR+LFP. Mixed home level 2 and supercharge just under 1k miles. Still charges to 253 and 252 regularly. Things I’ve noticed: charge max fluctuates from high 240s to 253. It’s been up to 255 when we first had the car. Lower estimated numbers when we drive the car low...

2022 Model 3 LFP (US), acceleration speed lowered. Related to my inverter failure on 1mo old M3?

I’ve already had the inverter fail on my new model 3 LFP. It’s quite fast and I like to use it, perhaps it’s too taxing on the single motor/inverter design. Would that possibly be related to them lowering the accelerations for the new LFP? Anyone else having problems with their LFP M3? Or do...

Model 3 12v Battery issues, monitoring, Aftermarket replacement

I've had my car for just over three weeks and there's already a 12v failure. It was plugged in and fully charged when it notified us with the litany of error messages. Thankfully we could open the trunk to attach a 12v backup and get it in tow mode to get it to the SC.

I wish the headrests were adjustable

There's also the safety factor considering people are modifying their headrests or leaning to the side of the rest, leading to a more dangerous situation. Also, some are not buying teslas for this reason alone. Personally I lean to the side of the headrest and this is much less safe, otherwise...

I wish the headrests were adjustable

I would love if they adjusted for people who like to sit up more straight. I have to sit more upright because otherwise I get power back pain, but now with my 3 it causes neck pain. It appears the seats are designed to be in only one lean back position. Quite uncomfortable and saddens me to have...

Would turning the headrest around work? My 3 is causing me significant back pain due to the forward headrest when the seat is in a more upright position.

INFORM: Tesla referral program Sunsetted as of Sept. 18 [except for solar roof]

I think the referrals became a nuisance when people started spamming sites and forums to get miles. This makes Tesla look bad to non-owners. Add to that fact, they don’t need the referral program at this point. It became a no-brainer for Tesla to end it.
