When you order a key card, does it automatically come linked to your car? Or do you get a dumb card and need to go into a SC to have them link it?

I live in Charleston SC and will soon take possession of my Tesla. Apparently there are no delivery centers in South Carolina, so I will have to drive to Savannah or Charlotte or somewhere to get the car as it won't be delivered in SC? I am wondering where I would go should I need service...

I see you are from Charleston, as am I. I plan on getting my Model 3 in a couple months, but do you know whether Tesla has home delivery here or has technicians come out here for service? Or do we have to drive a couple hours to either take delivery or get service?

Simple physics. Increase the weight of the car (LFP is a heavier battery) but keep the same motor, and the acceleration is slower (F=ma)

How did it work out for you? How long a delay did you get? How long after you removed the hold did you get the car?

How did you put your order on hold? Was there a button in your account that allowed that option once a VIN was assigned, or did you have to contact your SA?
