Yeah it takes way too long to decide to turn and during the turn itself. I feel like the cars behind me think I am on ambien or something for how slow it goes sometimes. The last second braking also makes me really uncomfortable.

The whole thing is crazy. I’ve been driving for about 30 years at this point and have zero accidents. I’ve avoided several with some of the things that would ding you here like hard braking.

I live in Atlanta as well. I had a 99 before I reset, but got impatient with waiting. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve gotten cut off, which of course dings me for following too closely. I started trying to quickly engage autopilot if I thought someone might cut me off to avoid the dings.

I did as well. I opted out Thursday and then opted back in. I drove 100 miles before midnight Thursday at 100 and then got the beta on Sunday.

Normally if someone rear ends you, it is their fault for following too closely. Not sure if anything changes with autopilot in play.

Same here. The constant FCWs appear to be fixed and I didn’t get any phantom braking, although it did try to pass someone at a stop light in a non-drivable middle lane with double yellow and diagonal yellow stripes through it.

The scary braking is so sudden that it takes pretty fast reflexes to respond to. It also threw me into the seatbelt so hard that it took me a second to recover from the shock of it. Thank god no one was right behind me.

I was getting continuous FCWs the whole time. I had to turn it off because it was constant. I can’t even imagine how bad my score would be if it counted all that.

Yes - I had the the FSD beta turned off the second time it did the phantom braking on the highway. I was just driving manually. I would try the sentry mode fix if you can.

Make sure you turn off AEB every time you start. It turns back on if you leave the car. Found that out with a 75 to 20mph brake slam on the interstate. Good times.

Has anyone gotten 10.3.1 yet? I’m still stuck on 10.3 as mine won’t roll back.

Yeah - parked, on wifi, doors closed and no warning. It is plugged in if that matters.

Mine hasn’t rolled back from 10.3, and I would like it to given my experiences today. Does anyone know how to force the rollback? I emailed them and did a reset, but it is sticking with 10.3.

Exact same. Holy *sugar* does it brake hard. My neck is super sore from it happening twice. I am old and have never hit the brakes that hard, EVER!

I had the exact same experience. From 75 down to like 10. My friend with me had never ridden in a Tesla, and it scared the *sugar* out of him. I got the FSD beta finally! Been at 100 since Thursday after reset. Definitely <7 days of data.

Man reading the thread on people’s experiences with the beta is making me a little nervous about trying it out. I don’t think I’m going to turn it on with the wife or kids in the car.
