update from me. contacted tesla this morning and asked a simple yes no question as to if they were in a position to provide the registration number to ARVAL. they said they were so contacted ARVAL to let them know. ARVAL have now authorised release of the vehicle when possible to me and tesla...

from those that are already at that stage, how long before the ship landed or delivery/collection did you get / were you able to get the reg number

i suspect they are waiting on the reg number same as me and another post above so they need that off tesla before they can auth delivery/collection

ARVAL update 02/11/21 finally spoke to a really helpful lady. she updated me as to the reply to an email they sent to Tesla on friday. The holdup is ARVAL waiting for the registration number to allow /authorise delivery. That now makes sense i guess, tesla confirmed that reg should be released...

sorry guys back again. so getting a wall of silence from Tesla ref delivery as ARVAL have tasks to complete ???? anybody been in this situation and got out the other side with ARVAL any idea what the tasks are as tesla claim its holding up being given a delivery date.

Ahhhhh, just hit the as you are using a 3rd party leasing company we cant tell you anything wall :(

QQ for people that use ARVAL in the us as the leasing agents. have they given Tesla permission to discuss delivery etc with you ?

Hi, others will differ, but why pay extra for something you can't use half of atm, better to save your cash and wait until its fully allowed in the uk and then buy it . just my 2 pence worth
