Tesla offered to allow me to pay for a replacement yoke (to have it replaced today during my service appt) or wait a few months for redesign and replacement under warranty. I think I’d rather have a peeling yoke and wait for the redesign!

I’m current sitting at my Tesla Service center waiting for my vehicle. One of my concerns was the peeling yoke. I was told that a new revision with better materials will be out in November. I was given the option to pay for replacement if I wanted it done today or I could wait for the better one...

My car is delayed as well. :( My new pickup date is 11/30.

Nothing special. My order hasn’t changed since day 1.

I never got the delivery text/email either. I called yesterday and was told my vehicle is in transit with an estimated arrival of 11/24. The SA presented options for delivery day and time. I’m now scheduled for delivery 11/27.

The build date is 10/18.

I got a MF VIN today! I checked my account for updates around 830 ET as usual, saw no change and went about my business. Checked my email a couple hours later and received 2 emails with subjects: “Your Model S Final Payment is Ready” and “Model S Finance VIN Available”!!!

Ordered 6/16/21/RN1151/LR/MSM/White/19/No FSD. My range has slipped each time I got to within a few days of the start of the window. 10/30-11/12 —> 11/12-11/26 —> 11/24-12/8. 😩

This is also my 2nd time in the same month. I was within 3 days of my previous EDD (last week). EDD got pushed out 2 weeks. Now I’m 11 days out.

Having gotten to within 3 days of my previous EDD range, I fully agree! But the closer I get, the more frequently I check for order status updates, email, text, etc, hoping for the best, but expecting the worst, knowing that there are people with older orders than mine who are still waiting.
