Got delivery today of our Model Y... I can finally stop obsessing over this forum. My M3 came with Ryzen, but the MY with Intel, oh well. My wife is happy, so am I. Had some curb rash on one wheel and a few scratches on the hood. Overall in good shape... two tesla's in one week!

The delivery date set for Friday 2/18 at 4 pm, just got word that the car arrived today! Can't wait to send pics

Where do you find the "built on" date?

Our VIN showed up yesterday! EDD went to a 4-day window (Feb 15-18) and then like 3 hours later the VIN appeared. NF377XXX For our recent model 3, VIN showed up Tue and I picked up the car on Thur! I hope the Y comes as fast.

Picked up my car from the Fresno location yesterday. Arrived off the truck early. Had time to put the Rimetrix covers on. All looks good but the rear passenger door is a bit hard to close, going to have them adjust alignment. I hope everyone gets thier VIN's soon! OD 9/26

EDD Feb 11-March 11 still. Profile date of 9/11, kicking myself for not knowing better (OD 8/26). Seeing most folks get their VIN in Cali Central CA

VIN came through around 5pm NF176xxx OD 9/26, EDD Feb 12-15th

Same, Central CA and had 10 day pushed to month EDD 2/11-3/11

EDD jumped to 10 days Feb 3-Feb 13th... OD 9/26

Yep, profile completed 9/11 and at Feb 11 - Mar 11

We had EDD of Jan 29-Feb 7 and got pushed today to Feb 11-Mar 11 (OD 8/28)

Why does getting a VIN matter? The tax credit goes to any vehicle sold after Jan 1, so as long as that loan paperwork is Jan 1 or later you should be good.

When are folks planning to take their order off of hold for a Jan 1 delivery?

How early are folks going to hit "I'm Ready" for a January 1st ish delivery? I want to jump in front of those that wait until Jan 1 auto release, but I also don't want them to call on Dec 31 for delivery.

You shouldn't have to, I have 8/7 OD with same spec and EDD 12/21-31

OD was 8/07 and my EDD jumped from Dec 13-31 to March 4-April 1... the only thing I can figure is they are planning to transition to Austin factory

I see folks on the forum stating they did hold, was that in person or over the phone with their sales rep?

I have a delivery date set for Dec 13-31 on Model 3, and then a Model Y slated for Dec 31-Jan 13th. That's a $16k difference based on two weeks. While I have already waited months, I can't sacrifice that sort of incentive to take delivery early.
