    Model S Refresh - Rear Rattle and Suspension Clunk Help

    I had the suspension clunking noise and this was the fix I implemented. I used a felt sticker on top of the screw head. Worked like a charm.

    "Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

    Tested today with active road noise reduction off no change in the hum/grow at higher speeds. I did try the medium suspension setting to see if there was a difference in the 38-41 mph vibration. It was gone. I’ll do more testing tomorrow. Setting back to low and it came back. MSLR 2022...

    +1 This is almost 100% to what’s happening on my MSLR 2022 March build date. The vibrations at 38-41 mph which folks are describing in this thread and the hum/growl at 64-70 mph for me. Started at around 3600 miles.

    Plaid Suspension / Steering clicking issue.

    So far the fix has been holding. No issues. It took two service appointments to get fixed. The second one they actually removed the bash/skid plate cleaned debris and retorqued…first appointment was just retorquing. Looking back…I wish I had them take pictures of the area and bolts they torqued...

    Happy to report that it's FIXED! no more clicking sound! Greeney was right on with what the fix was. .....I had to focus them again on that area of the car. They finally removed the plate and found debris behind it...they cleaned it up and reinstalled, then torqued it. This is what the invoice...

    Happy to report that it's FIXED! no more clicking sound! Greeney was right on with what the fix was. My experience with services was exactly what mb466 experienced......I had to focus them again on that area of the car. They finally removed the plate and found debris behind it...they cleaned it...

Service Center (SC) had the car for 3 hours. According to them they retorqued the bash plate and also looked at suspension in general...

    Picked up a Model S LR on 3/22 same clicking sound after around 250 miles or so. Service appointment is set for 4/22. I will report back when I get more information.
