I've had a similar issue occur but always after my phone updates and reboots. Opening the Tesla app and hitting unlock fixes it until my next phone reboot.

Oh I get it. Yes you're correct, when I turn the wheel. Therefore you can't lane change without disabling autosteer.

Autosteer without fsd disengages when you signal and turn the wheel to change lanes. You have to manually turn it back on with every lane change.

I had the same experience and was checking source every day. Just popped up on my phone immediately when it was assigned.

I'm picking up in IL but closest service center is in Milwaukee, WI. The WI guy is really responsive so I've directed all my questions there. Maybe it's different for places that have the same delivery and service center? I've also used Tesla chat when my guy is out for the day.

I've had this happen. My SA warned me that I could get these phantom messages as they shift things around and to ignore it.

You should only have your order canceled if you pass up the next car offered that's past the time window in your purchase agreement. And the purchase agreement says "may" cancel so it's not a certainty but they have that option. Good luck to you!
