Yes it is a pod point charger! Have you had similar issues?! I didn’t have anyone else around to help, but I did pull very hard on the manual release cable whilst also pulling on the charger, and nothing!

Thanks everyone, I’ve tried all of the above and nothing is working. Now been on hold to tesla roadside assistance for 35mins! Atleast I’m at home and not waiting on the side of the road!

Currently stood by the side of my M3, have been trying for over 20 mins to remove my charge cable! It just won’t let me have it! Any wise ideas?!!! The release cable in the boot doesn’t seem to do anything! Thanks

Has anybody had any luck solving this? I’m still getting it after every overnight charge, even since the new software update. Think I’m going to log a service appointment, in the grand scheme of things it’s not a huge issue but for a “premium” brand and a £45k+ car, it’s rather annoying!

I have the exact same problem. Only picked my m3 up about a month ago, have had this exact problem several times, and it does seem to be when I’ve left it to charge overnight. I “wake” the car on the app, then when I get out to the car I press “unlock charge port” on the app, it makes the noise...

it was released to order about 2 weeks ago. When this was originally posted the Y wasn't out and there wasn't any clear indication of when it would be released. Now its been released I think the price has put a lot of people off. I was waiting for the Y and was really keen to order one once it...
